When my husband and I moved to Norway, we trekked from Lillestrøm to Otta. This whimsical watercolour painting is based on a real-life tenting spot early in our adventure.

I featured this scene in a pencil sketch for the Plastober 2021 drawing prompt Unexpected. Further inspiration for this illustration came from recent summer rainbow sightings in Folldal, Norway and the dual-colour prompt Leaf Green & Cool Grey II.
