There is beauty found in the small details, especially here in the mountains—lichen growing on trees, tiny mouse tracks on snow, ever-changing clouds in the winter sky. Many of my illustrations are loosely based on real-life experiences. This lakeside painting is inspired by fond memories of a sunny day spent exploring with child-like wonder.
