We wanted a logo for the SUNPOINT project. Marie immediately understood what we wanted to convey about the project. The original ideas were further developed into a clean, stylish logo in a short time. Following feedback from the project partners, Marie incorporated all the wishes of the partners in addition to retaining the core of the original design. Throughout the process, Marie has been attentive, orderly, and skilled in her subject.

Institutt for energitekknik (IFE)
Kjeller, Norway
Research scientists at Institutt for energiteknikk (Institute for Energy Technology) in Norway hired me to create a logo for their solar energy project. The research project is a collaboration with Norwegian partners, including the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, to expand the technology behind the national solar system.
The project incorporates weather predictions to assess the best method for installing solar panels on buildings: what type, where to install them, and how to integrate them into the national electricity grid. The research aims to use a holistic approach that incorporates everyone from the solar panel industry to politicians and the public.
The original idea was based on a collection of photographs: Sunrays over a fjord in Norway, an array of solar panels, and a high-voltage transmission line. The final logo incorporated the partners’ wishes for a logo that included building-based solar panels. Learn more about SUNPOINT on their website.
