Researchers in the battery department at Institutt for energiteknikk (Institute for Energy Technology) in Norway contracted me for an illustration featuring Small angle neutron scattering (SANS). The artwork was commissioned as cover artwork for the American Chemical Society (ACS) Journal of Applied Energy. Read more about the science.
This project was completed within a tight deadline, going from initial pencil sketches to final digital Adobe Illustrator design within one week. The final illustration was approved by technical editing boards and accepted as cover artwork.
